AIsecurityPlatform.com publishes original research about the AI security category. We collect data ourselves, document methodology, and refresh each piece on a published cadence. Our goal is the same as everywhere else on the site: give buyers ground truth they can audit.
Why we built this
AI security buyers consistently report the same frustration: vendor pricing is hidden behind “Contact Sales” forms, and the only way to know what a product costs is to enter a six-week procurement cycle. We checked 25 leading AI security vendors and documented exactly what each discloses publicly, with no contact forms filled out and no sales conversations. This is original research, refreshed annually.
Methodology
We visited each vendor’s primary marketing site and looked for a public pricing page. We also checked AWS Marketplace and the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, where some vendors disclose pricing they do not publish on their own sites. We did not fill any contact forms, request any demos, or contact any sales teams. We documented what was visible to a buyer reading the public web in November 2026 and assigned each vendor one of four transparency tiers.
Headline Findings
Of the 25 AI security vendors we checked, 4 disclosed FULL pricing (price and tier names public on the vendor’s own site). That is the minority.
12 vendors were OPAQUE — no public pricing on their own site, no marketplace disclosure, "Contact Sales" only. This is the dominant pattern in the category.
5 vendors had PARTIAL transparency, often disclosing pricing on AWS Marketplace or in a third-party listing while keeping their own pricing page absent or empty of dollar amounts.
4 vendors had MINIMAL transparency, typically a free tier with no upgrade path published.
AWS Marketplace has emerged as a quiet pricing disclosure channel — several vendors (Witness AI, Portal26, Lasso, HiddenLayer, Skyflow, Prompt Security pre-acquisition) publish dollar figures there that do not appear on their own sites. This still requires hunting and is less transparent than a vendor pricing page.
AILeakShield and Nudge Security disclose pricing fully on their own sites, and are outliers in the category.
Highest-priced disclosure observed: HiddenLayer at $5,000,000/year for full platform access (via AWS Marketplace).
Lowest-priced commercial entry tier: AILeakShield ChatGPT Secure at $19/user/month (annual) on the vendor’s own pricing page.
The Transparency Tiers
FULL — Pricing page exists publicly with starting price AND tier names visible on the vendor’s own site.
PARTIAL — Some pricing disclosed (often via AWS Marketplace) but not on the vendor’s own site, or pricing tiers shown without dollar amounts.
MINIMAL — Only a free tier OR only a starting-price hint, no tier structure.
OPAQUE — No pricing disclosed anywhere; "Contact Sales" only.

Vendors with FULL Transparency
These vendors publish a pricing page on their own site with both starting prices and tier names visible to a buyer with no sales conversation. They are the minority in the category, and we think they are right.
AILeakShield.
Three tiers (ChatGPT Secure $19/user/mo, All AI Prompts $39/user/mo, Enterprise Data Shield $5,000/mo). Free trial on every tier. Disclosure: produced by Cyber Security Services, which operates this site.
Nudge Security.
Flat $750/month for under-150-user organizations, $5/user/month above 150 users, ELA at 2,500+. The most transparent enterprise pricing model in the dataset.
Fairly AI.
Now operating as Asenion. Three tiers ($99/mo Essential, Pro, custom Premium) with 30-day money-back guarantee. Recently rebranded; pricing page survives the transition.
Arthur AI.
Free tier, Premium starting at $60/month, custom Enterprise. Clean three-tier model with prices visible.
Vendors with OPAQUE Pricing
These vendors disclose no pricing on their own site, no pricing on any major marketplace, and route every visitor to a contact form. This is the most buyer-unfriendly pattern in the category.
A growing number of AI security vendors use AWS Marketplace as their de facto pricing disclosure channel — they keep their own marketing site free of dollar amounts, but list per-seat or per-year prices on AWS Marketplace where buyers can find them with effort. Vendors observed using this pattern in our dataset:
Witness AI — $180/user/year (1,000-user minimum) on AWS Marketplace; no pricing on witness.ai
Portal26 — $250,000/year for a 12K/20-user enterprise contract on AWS Marketplace; no pricing on portal26.ai
Lasso Security — $50,000/year on AWS Marketplace; no pricing on lasso.security
HiddenLayer — $5,000,000/year (12-month contract) on AWS Marketplace; no pricing on hiddenlayer.com
Skyflow — $500/month Developer/Startup Vault on AWS Marketplace; pricing page on skyflow.com redirects to home
Cranium AI — $18,725/month on Microsoft Azure Marketplace; no pricing on cranium.ai
Prompt Security (pre-acquisition) — $120/seat/year on AWS Marketplace; no pricing on prompt.security (now part of SentinelOne Singularity Platform)
Editorial commentary: this still requires hunting. A buyer evaluating five vendors should not have to log into AWS, find the seller listing, click through pricing dimensions, and reverse-engineer the model. A vendor pricing page on the primary site is strictly better.
What This Means for Buyers
Always check AWS Marketplace before assuming a vendor is opaque. Several
Several vendors disclose substantial pricing detail on AWS Marketplace that they do not publish elsewhere. It is not on their site by design, but it is public.
Demand a public per-unit number before signing.
If a vendor cannot tell you the per-seat or per-month cost without a customized quote, you have less leverage in renewal negotiations than you would with a vendor that publishes a list price.
Treat OPAQUE pricing as a buyer-unfriendliness signal, not as a deal-breaker.
Opaque pricing is the dominant pattern in this category. Many of the strongest products in our rankings are opaque. The signal matters — the discount it should drive on the deal matters more.
What This Means for Vendors
Publishing pricing is a competitive moat, not a discount
Buyers who can plan around your number close faster, renew at higher rates, and reference you more readily inside their own organizations.
AWS Marketplace is a legitimate channel, but a vendor pricing page is better.
If you are already disclosing on AWS Marketplace, consider mirroring those numbers on your own site. You have already done the work.
Tiered pricing without dollar amounts is worse than no pricing page.
A page that shows "Business / Enterprise" with no numbers signals that you have something to hide. Either commit to public numbers or commit to a clean "Contact Sales" page.
How We Will Update This
This benchmark is refreshed annually each January. Vendors who change their public pricing posture between refreshes can request re-evaluation by emailing research@aisecurityplatform.com with a link to their public pricing page. Re-evaluation does not change rankings; it changes only this benchmark’s tier assignment.
FAQ
How was this scored?
Each vendor was assigned to exactly one of four tiers based on what was visible on the public web in November 2026. Methodology is published above; the dataset is included in full so any reader can reproduce the scoring.
Did vendors know they were being evaluated?
No. We checked public pricing without contacting any vendor. Several vendors will likely see this benchmark for the first time when it is published.
Will you accept payment for inclusion or favorable scoring?
No. We do not accept payment for inclusion in this benchmark, for favorable tier assignment, or for any other editorial outcome. Vendors can request re-evaluation when their pricing posture changes; we evaluate against the same rubric.
When will this be updated?
Annually, each January, with quarterly correction windows for vendors that change their public pricing posture.
